I got a survey the other day on Prolific that was floating around the "always listening" technology for things like Echo Dot and Google Home/Google Assistant, with the added "and interjecting into conversations" so this new tech would listen to you all the time and instead of subtling giving you advertisements and things, it would then be like "I heard you talking about [topic] with [person], would you like to try [service] or I could contact [service] for you"

After two hits it showed a message saying I could do no more and my quality sucked(in more words that were less mean but meant the same). The only things I can think of is the toilet issue and one chair where they marked a person't butt showing through an opening in a chair and I said it's not a chair, since a butt isn't a chair.

It was worded like they really don't want emails about these things though was just shy of actually saying not to email. Might give it a shot anyway but I expect to be ignored if I do.
They've actually been doing that for a couple years. It was why "always on" tech like smart tv's and xboxes, was a big scare. Most of the time, they don't tell you that you're getting the ad because of audio. Sometimes they do.

Oh yeah I know it's been going on for a long time. We have a game where we say "Don Cheedle" a few times a day to see if we get anything sent to us that relates to him at all. SO far no dice, BUT, we don't have any active mics in our place anymore, no smart TV, all devices capable of listening are normally off and have the listening settings turned off.
