That's what I always said. When I finally got masters, this was (and still is) the reason I love it. Captchas are the worst. Other than this, though, turking seems the same to me. Crossing my fingers for another random masters giveaway soon, and that you're one of the chosen ones.

just came in from a break and see that AdsForce popped up. But they seem to be borked??

They always are when they first load. I give them 5 minutes or so before I start them. I just skip through them instead of accepting until I see they work.

I'll be awfully disappointed if I find out they didn't simply give it to me for my sparkling personality.

Seriously though, I've always suspected it's based on maybe being lucky enough to get in on a batch they are judging for Masters so to speak and doing a good job on those HITs. As always, though, who knows?

It took me slightly less time for the long one than you, and it wasn't super-efficient, but as the old joke goes, six bucks is six bucks. It was neither horrifying nor straining, just kind of boring.

I think it doesn't help also that I'm turking with braces on both hands to do with disc slippage in my back and maybe something else. My normal slower than others speed is a lot slower now.

Yikes! I wish you a speedy recovery and/or a miracle surgeon if needed (My Mom and my First Adopted Sister *both* had to have back surgery within the last year and they're both recovering pretty rapidly).

Also I think the videos were different lengths, some of mine were pretty short.

I'll be okay. The doctor is thinking just a couple types of physical therapy and hopefully maybe 3 months temp disability. I don't want to have surgery, I mean, that'll be a last resort, although it's good to hear that your sister and mom turned out okay. I've heard some bad stories about surgery.

The only universal wisdom I can provide (as someone who basically lives as a patient) is to get your "I'd Like to Speak to the Manager" haircut on and be a super-advocate for yourself, not because doctors don't care but because they see you 1% of the time and don't know about you as much as you do.

But most of all take care of your back, we can't replace those yet.

And I hope you can spend most of your time in a comfortable position, back problems can be miserable.

Thank you Yes, I've noticed things get done a lot faster if I check in and make calls to insurance, dr.'s assistants, etc. Friendly reminders, sometimes everyday if necessary. My mom ordered a good chair for me that achieves a kind of weighlessness for the area of my problem in the neck and upper back, so that helps when I feel it start to act up. It's not the pain that bothers me so much if I'm just sitting as much as the irritation of not being able to do a lot of things I used to do. I mean, I can still do them, but can feel it enough that I know it's a signal to stop or it'll get bad.

I was on a roughly 3 month hiatus when I got Masters back in the mid 2017 handout. I don't remember working on anything outside of the norm, honestly. I think the sparkling personality part is definitely the reason. How else would I get it?
Perhaps we just have to do a lot of Sticky hits and be smiling the entire time. Seems the best way for them to see how amazing we are.
