I lived in Georgia before this. In all my time in GA I lived through only one tornado (I was actually outside feeding the chickens on a farm and it hit.. that was scary). Something about Alabama just has it out for me I guess because we had a tornado watch my third day here as well.

Think I'm too far off the coast or hurricanes here

That does sound scary. Glad you lived through it, though. It just depends on the storm, but hopefully you are far away enough from the coast so you don't get the full force of them.
