4? Did it sell again in the past month or so?
What I heard was N sold it to some secretive person a few months ago who never made themselves publicly known, and then that person sold it again to the current owner within the last few weeks.

And now it's had 4 owners in a 1-year span (the first owner change was already in the works before they decided to start MTC, not because of MTC), so things have kinda gone off the rails there anyway.
I wouldn't say the first owner change was in the works, exactly. He really wanted out of the whole mturk forum thing, but I don't think he was sure how to do it, or that he could be comfortable with leaving something that he built in someone else's hands. He had played with the idea, but never really pulled the trigger. Even when he handed MTG over to me, he still came back like a week or two later. I think us leaving just kinda finalized the whole thing and pushed him over the edge.

I'm sure it's weird, but I still feel bad about how it all happened. But I don't regret anything. I'm glad we did what we did and I'm so happy with what this forum has become.

Ah, I didn't know it was sold again in the past few weeks. Is that new owner known or are they also secretive?

Just letting you know I could have easily won by voting for myself because my IP address is changed every 30 seconds meaning I can vote once every 30 seconds. But I didn't because I am an honest person.
One of the reasons why I tried to keep voting time to a minimum :p

Would be funny if it was all the same person just buying and selling it to themselves to raise hype :p

IDK, I'm sure it didn't convince him to change his mind, but I'm pretty sure I was shown the 'for sale' listing before MTC launched. :)

Even though I am an anti-social repressed dork with no life, I still feel very welcomed here. This forum is my virtual online home. Thanks for creating a safe place for us to be ourselves as we turk.

It wasn't exactly for sale. He had listed it previously, to gauge interest, but that was all. He wasn't committed to selling at that point, so he just wanted to know what he could get for it.
