Holy shit, J! Im glad you made it out ok. Its ativan by the way...only reason I know that is I work in a hospital.

Thanks! I'm glad I made it too. Yeah. It was pretty scary. All I took was 1 Flexoril(Cyclobenzaprine). I live across the street from a fire department. I had no cell service to call an ambulance. So, I tried to walk over there but made it halfway before my legs stopped responding. Luckily, a guy was walking down the street and had his cell phone in his hand. I said, "Excuse me. So sorry to bother you but, is there any way you could call 911 for me? I think I'm having a heart attack. I'm being serious. Please." He called and then helped me to the fire station, because I knew they had a portable defib there. They looked at me like I was just malingering until they put the machine on me and a woman's voice said, "Prepare for defibrillation." LOL. Their eyes widened when they realized it was an actual situation. Apparently, I was just below the threshold for the machine to do it's thing. I got pissed in the ambulance and at the hospital. I said, "Regardless of whether or not I'm going to die, could somebody please say,"You're gonna be okay." If I was anyone else you all would be saying, "Don't worry Mr. Lessard. We're going to take care of you" and I'm really scared. A bit of reassurance may help alleviate the panic that's exacerbating this situation."
An ER nurse said, "you're going to be okay."

So, I don't take Flexoril anymore. One of the known effects is heart palpitations.

BTW, that's really cool that you work in a hospital. I was thinking about getting a job in a hospital. I've always been a "people pleaser" So, I think a job where I could help people may be good for me.

You'll get there.
I'm sure that there are parts that suck but, you're part of the machine. Without you, and people like you, doctors would have to wipe asses and fetch ice, taking valuable time that could be spent with a patient. I understand what you mean but, I've always worked in and managed restaurants. I always say that my dishwashers are some of the most important people in the restaurant. Without them, everything else would fall apart. Basically, you're very important.

I took nursing school, sort of. My sister went and would never do her course work, which was online. So, I did it so she didn't fail.
Never did my clinicals though.
