Morning folks. Fort Worth survived the nearly statewide snow storm yesterday with maybe an inch of snow. Central Texas remains to be seen. They got hammered!

at least it was all snow this time. it was a weird front. normally snow cover is 3 or more inches in the northern part of the state but this time the heavier totals (5 inches or more) were about 25 south of Fort Worth down through Austin. generally that kind of polar cold front drops snow as an afterthought and prefers to cover the entirety of north texas in ice. an inch or two of ice is a dangerous thing no matter where one lives
today, typical of texas, the high will be 48 and it'll be in the 60s by week's end. gotta love it.

I know snow in TX. Drop the shift into second gear and drive very slowly because so many have no clue how to drive in ice and snow. It could be amusing if it weren't so dangerous.
