I guess I don't understand why people care if something like that is over hyped or advertised. Does that really effect how much or why you like something? (I'm not arguing with you specifically.)
I like things I like because I like them! I think it is okay for others to like the things that they like, as much or as little as they want.
The media hype would have affected and probably diminished the show for me. I'm not that particular about saying spoilers ruin a show because that isn't usually my experience. Seeing interviews and articles that delve into every nuance before watching the show is a problem, though.Did the quality go down once the media got ahold of it?
