doesn't qualtrics give info on time spent per individual question? but I agree with what you're saying, at least somewhat.I didn't think that the forum approved of "cooking" since it is a form of lying to requesters.
Wouldn't better advice be:
If you find that you have completed the survey faster than the requesters time estimation, take a few minutes to reread over each page and ensure you haven't missed anything.
unless you've read TO/TV that explicitly says you need to cook, spending your time and computer resources (if you have a shitty PC) cooking a study in a chrome tab can't be worth the hourly for the 1 requester out of hundreds that's going to hit you with a reject.
