I was wondering how a forum needs a 100 dollars a month to survive? This the right place to ask that?

Based on traffic alone (especially since so many people from the other place are lurking and "reporting back"), a shared server isn't going to work. A dedicated server, or even a VPS, can cost at least $1k a year. I don't think $100/month is very much at all, tbh.

You're not required to donate to be a member on this forum. Also, no admin or moderator is paid on this forum and no one is making any profit on it. All donations go back into the forum and will continue to be operated in that manner.

Many addons can range between $10 and $30. All three of our forum themes were $25+ and we'll be adding more because we want to give people options. The math really isn't all that complicated.

Edit I also don't care if they get "rich" and splurge in hookers and blow...I appreciate the $ I found that I missed on scraper etc.
