Mine had some school project thing they did about their "favorites". They listed favorite color, food, song etc. For "activity" (most kids put like painting, reading, playing babies) mine put "shopping and buying things with money".

We've had so many meltdowns, but my funniest/favorite meltdown was when she cried for about 20 solid minutes and was mad beyond belief at me because she found out we had the same last name.

2 really isn't bad at all
that's when they start showing their own personalities

3 is the worst. They push every boundary they can.
and when you tell them no... they learn to use 'no' also, moreso than when they were two

3 is also a time of them wanting to assert independence.. and the frustration that comes with it

I was lucky; my daughter barely said two words until she was almost four
we were ... well, her mother was really upset about it, she was sure the kid was slow
I didn't care, because she displayed remarkable problem solving when playing

anyway, my ex got childlink involved, which is some type of help available through the city,
and after ruling out autism, they proceeded to teach her some basic sign language
they said that if she can communicate with us, she'll suffer less frustration

fast forward two years, and you'd never know she was a slow talker
