But I successfully dropped my kid off at school. We live very close and he normally walks, but I actually feared I might need a boat to get him there. The entire drop off area was flooded...too flooded to to walk through so us parents in cars had to fight for the few square feet of dry ground our kids could hop out onto, and that would not flood our cars.

so that was a success!
