Got a gym membership a week ago and still have not gone. Trying to motivate myself to go workout since I'm off today. Ugh.

did you workout the day you bought the membership?
my trainer friend told me to workout at home for 6 months before committing to a gym.
if you can commit to working out at home for 6 months, then a gym membership is worth it.
if you can't do it at home, then you probably won't do it at a gym either.

my friend was recently disabled due to back issues. she was actually excited about it. "now all my student loans are forgiven!"
she was in the same boat as you, thought she was going to die before she could get it paid (60k!)

The power went out about 15 times here last night, but in a really weird way (the entire town of 50k+ people lost power on and off every few minutes for like an hour) and Hubs was like "Hey what happens if the world ends? Maybe this is the end coming?" and then we did a "no student loans" dance. Obv it did not happen. I completely understand your friend lol.

No I did not work out the day I signed up. I went with my mom and she paid for my membership and hers is covered by insurance. I know I wont work out at home, I have an elliptical that is now a clothes hanger. I just need to make myself go. I'm sure once I'm there it will be fine.

I ignore posts where people publicly share big daily numbers, without any information on how they specifically earned it (requester, etc). With reason.

i recently learned that heating oil is just diesel fuel. if you know how to fill your thing, then you could buy some diesel until you can get more.
