My wife has to do similar shots 3 per week. She was having a problem with bruises. Yesterday, they told her it is because she stopped holding pressure on the area after administering the shot. Supposedly, holding pressure on the area for a few minutes after prevents bleeding underneath the skin, which is what causes the bruising.

I have to go every week now. I've had to do this before but never had any sore arm or bruising. This is my first time having this problem. Thanks! I'll remember that for next time.
