I don't understand all of y'all that say you've only had the flu once. I get it literally almost every year, sometimes twice. What are you all doing to have such amazing immune systems?!

I get the flu shot every year, and my husbands job requires him to get it, and I make sure our kid gets his too.

Honestly -- just washing your hands (a lot) during the winter and using Lysol wipes on door handles and other areas touched often seems to help. Also not being around a lot of people helps.

I'm the opposite. Had it every year until I started smoking. After that, I only got it when I tried to quit.
