One other thing too, when I do these types of hits, after I submit it, I always send along an email to the requester that says, "If you feel that my work was of a quality that exceeds your expectations, you can always provide additional payment using the bonus function as a thank you. It is greatly appreciated and I thank you for the ability to work on your project."

I've done large paying hits in the past and had an additional $50 and $30 bonus, just from sending this little email.

that's a good idea. once i messaged a requester because his HITs were kind of broken and helped him fix them. he decided to take the HITs down because he said i was the only worker who was doing any work worth paying anyway and he just gave me a qual and posted $200 of work for only me over 2 days. i wish he would come back haha

exactly, usually when people post these types of work, they have a larger budget than they let MTurk workers know.

I still do my best and just give them a gentle nudge in the right direction for a bonus... lol
