Note: In our denomination, fun is a consequence of fulfilling a motivation, not a motivation in itself. If you're inclined to answer "fun" as an answer to why someone did something, try asking yourself what the character valued that would make an action fun for them. E.g., is it fun in the sense of fun or did they intend the fun to be fun in the sense of fun?

For each of the following stories, you will also be asked to identify whether the motivations is stated directly or only implied. Lastly, you will be asked to identify whether or not the motivation can be detected from the last line of the story by itself, or whether you needed information from previous lines or if the previous line was not the line for motivation because the last line was the first line for motivation that was intended to be the motivation.
