This has always made me wonder why it's on a 5pt scale if it's simply a yes or no question.Yep. TO mods seem to only want fairness used for approve/reject and nothing else. I agree with @Ken_Kaniff. Just write about what happened so others can read it. You don't have to fill in any numbers.
The original intention was so long ago and so quickly made (since TO was originally sort of an art project for a university class), that the use and meaning has really morphed over the years. I think everyone, including the owners, agree that the questions and scales need changes. This has always made me wonder why it's on a 5pt scale if it's simply a yes or no question.
I can't wait until they roll out the updated review form. This has always made me wonder why it's on a 5pt scale if it's simply a yes or no question.
...TO was an art project? Huh?The original intention was so long ago and so quickly made (since TO was originally sort of an art project for a university class), that the use and meaning has really morphed over the years. I think everyone, including the owners, agree that the questions and scales need changes.
did you install tampermonkey and the script on chromeDoes anyone know why my hitscraper would randomly stop working on chrome? It just shows the default hits page and never turns into hitscraper. The weird part is it works perfectly fine on firefox. Pretty annoying not sure how to fix it. Tried deleting/reinstalling chrome/scripts etc
here's what I currently pay for the various length tests. How much do UserBob hits usually pay? debating doing the qual
edit: nvm fixed its because i was using tapermonkey beta instead of regular versiondid you install tampermonkey and the script on chrome
Thank you for replying! Another question, if you don't mind: is some background noise okay, or does it need to be completely silent? That's the main thing keeping me from doing them.here's what I currently pay for the various length tests.
1 min x 0.40/min = 0.40
2 min x 0.30/min = 0.60
3 min x 0.25/min = 0.75
4 min x 0.25/min = 1.00
5 min x 0.26/min = 1.30
6 min x 0.27/min = 1.62
7 min x 0.30/min = 2.10
8 min x 0.35/min = 2.80
9 min x 0.40/min = 3.60
10 min x 0.45/min = 4.50
I add $2 for app tests > 1min ($1.60 for 1 min)
I add $1 for mobile web sites >1min ($0.90 for 1 min)
I give a $0.05 bonus on every HIT once you've added your demographic info
I give a $0.02 bonus for anyone who starts the HIT within the first hour of the HIT being created.
I have the same problem. Totally want to do them, but constantly have background noise (currently 5y/o watching nursery rhyme videos on youtube).Thank you for replying! Ditto. I've been eyeing these for a long time, but haven't tried them yet - I get too anxious because I'm worried the cat is going to make noise, or the rabbit will freak out and thump and it'll disqualify me.Thank you for replying! Cut the bottom out of a dixie cup and turn it into a cone to funnel the sound from your voice to the mic... then turn the gain down a little.I have the same problem. Totally want to do them, but constantly have background noise (currently 5y/o watching nursery rhyme videos on youtube).
