Just a reminder, if you don't like someone's posts, please use the ignore button. Or, if you think they're violating the guidelines at all, please report them. Could do without the snarky comments.

there's a rule in the NFL rule book that the commissioner can re-start a game

why not just have the Rams and Saints line back up in ATL... same time of the game where the non- penalty happened (less than 2 mins/same spot of the field). the Saints were just going to take three knees and kill the clock after that non-call anyways since the ball would've been at the 1 yd line. of course the FG kicker could miss a chip in 20 yd FG, but chances are (probably 98% Lutz would make that FG). re-start the game at like noon on Super Bowl Sunday. it would probably take all of the 2 mins. Neither team would waste hardly any energy (especially the Saints who would just be kneeling 3 times and kicking a FG). then there would still be over 5 1/2 hrs left until the Super Bowl.

The Saints could've been game planning for the Pats before hand since they'd be at the 1 yd line already against the Rams. 99% chance they would win against LA.

just a thought I had
Ask yourself this: If you were Roger Goodell and you had that choice to make would you do it? With nothing for the reporters to report in the NFL for two entire weeks after you did? When every one of them literally had nothing better to do than to focus their collective attention on you and your unprecedented decision? Or would you say, "The Rams haven't been to the big game in a while. Hope they have fun. "

i am a rider and i seek justice

goodell and the nfl wanted the Rams in the SB ahead of their new stadium and with their re-location to LA a couple yrs ago

i understand your point though. and that’s exactly what happened

Back to do some more Noahs.
Razorback Basketball on tv.

Ready to hear my husband cuss like a sailor.
They're pretty mediocre this year, sorry about that. Although they did win their intrasquad game in pre-season so they have that going for them.

If you're talking about me, it's not snark, it's friendly banter :sob: same as when I tell him I'm making pie :(

Yeah - he's upset. He just says they're a young team and to give them time.
He had a rough football season, now basketball season..let's hope they have a great baseball season lol!
