I'm thinking of opening an account until we move - again- and I can open a bank where we land. (I'm the idiot that lost her bank card and moved, sigh).

I just opened an Ally Bank checking account, and am still evaluating it (like just this week, waiting for the packet, signature card, etc). They have been rated the best in customer service by Huff Post articles, and a few other prominent magazines.

Nerdwallet is a site I found that evaluates many accounts, and I studied that site for a few days before choosing this account. I'm pretty conservative though this way, and haven't opened another checking account for 10 years or more.
