Any one else do a HIT on Prolific and then get an email about a similar but not HIT on mTurk that says you are qualified to do? I don't remember them being the same requester and didn't check but wonder if a requester is running his own private experiment between the two platforms??

I didn't get that email so I don't know what you're referring to but I've seen several requesters have the same survey on both MTurk and Prolific. It could be to get more diverse participation or to compare the two sites.

thanks. It was a different though similar survey and I was invited to take it as they said I qualified, you know the deal, and when I took it I kept thinking I did one like this though different sometime today and couldn't find it. Then I remembered it was on the other platform. It was a weird feeling and I just wondered if they are comparing the platforms to see which works best.
