I'm so confused :tearsofjoy: I'm going back to my princess cereal

Their plan to live in CA did work for awhile (I think they were out there for two years living in the RV before he died). I think those years were really important: they loved their daughter and wanted to be near her and their grandchildren.

I was trying to be funny (and I'm not very good at that in writing). So, it didn't happen overnight in that their adventure lasted a few years. But the accident did happen during the night .

So, I guess I shouldn't tell the story of my 90 year old uncle on a treadmill for the first time.........

(In this case, he did survive.............after an ambulance ride and trip to the ER).

I really want to live in a YURT. (One with a loft space, though, for sleeping .
I love the idea of heating with wood. The plumbing things is a big issue - but I've seen it resolved successfully.

The thing to know about when heating with wood is that you are going top wake up to a very very very cold house.
