For some reason, scraping expired HITs from forums is all the rage right now. I've seen at least 7 or 8 forum scrapers pop up in the last year. I honestly don't get it.

Yes, they are on reddit complaining about not making $30 a day too. I know there is a lot of discourse, but I have learned a lot from just reading other people's tips and other things they posted that weren't hits.

but it gets frecking boring.
so i'm ok making a few dollars less but having some great conversations.

I understand that. I just don't get why people would rather scrape second hand HITs off a forum instead of just using HIT Scraper to get them from the source. It's not like finding HITs on there is all that complicated. Anybody can do it, and you're much more likely to catch great HITs from HS than you are from scraping forum leftovers.

That said, I do appreciate that the person that runs hitgrabber at least made it so the forum name gets listed along with the HIT. A little free advertising for us, I guess. If people work from there and see that most HITs are coming from here, I would hope that they'd be more inclined to sign up here when they need to ask a question about a particular HIT.
