But today I've spent more time waiting for work than actually working.

When I started mid last year I thought it was all about masters.

It's not. It's all about the quals.

Any advice as to which quals we should be begging for? How to get them? Most of the time when I request a qual, it goes ignored.

Yea qual requests get sent into the abyss.

A good one to start on would be the PI Search qual tests.
Anything with a qual test really.

Don't worry if you fail, you can retake them every 24 hours.
You will need a score of 70 or higher to do the HITs

If you're only clicking on the "Request Qualification" button, it's going to be ignored. Just look at all of the HITs available, look for work that might be interesting or may have been mentioned by other posters, and try sending the requester an email asking how to get the qual.

Thank you!! I just started at the end of november. So, I'm still new but I've got 11k hits so I was expecting it to open up more when I hit 10k. Not much of a change.
