Probably not me. Something of an unusual situation: the woman who owns the property on which I live is an ex-girlfriend of mine from the early '80s, so I have significant wiggle room with my payments, if I need the "space."
Yep. Been renting from the same place for 2 and a half years, good tenants, never had any trouble, suddenly management wants to spruce up the place and drops a bombshell that surprise, empty units being renovated now and occupied units renovated starting in 3 months. We have NO details on where we're meant to go, where our stuff will have to be stored, or how much they're going to jack the rent up once it's done...and we saw quartz countertops/stainless appliances going into one of the empty units the other day, so it's likely gonna be hefty.
Nice! I do have a quill and a dip pen. I think I like the dip pen even more than fountain pens, but I've never used my real quill. Just part of the collection. LOLI went through a phase where I only wanted to write with my homemade quill and jar of ink. I still have that jar somewhere deep in the craft box.
If I didn't have a family I'd probably just squat in a rich person's summer home.

Some of us were lucky enough to swipe (I forgot about the politically correct stuff) I mean, "Tactically-Relocate" a U.S. Government pen from the Post office. They did NOT require an ink cartridge and you could write continuously for a mile without running out of ink.
I am weird and obsessed with fountain pens. I think I have 8(?) now. Some vintage, some cheap, some not so cheap. 10/10 would use over normal pen or pencil any day
I once had my purse snatched(got it back) and when the cop asked me what was in it and I told him a 250.00 Mont Blanc pen, he out right didn't believe me. He also didn't like when I said it was a cheap one.

I put my pens in the locking desk drawer at my old job and locked it all the time, like i I even walked away for a second. My co-supervisor was like WTF one day, and I pretty much explained the same thing.... You have no idea how much money is in that drawer.
