But those are gross. Why not coffee? Also, have you tried adding L-Tyrosine? There are studies showing it potentiates caffeine and reduces the jitters. I need to find where I saved those fucking studies.

L-tyrosine is an amino acid. It works really well for me as far as boosting energy and alertness (is that a word?). It also happens to be one of the main ingredients in 5 hour energy shots, but I don't like all that caffeine, so I just go with the supplement.

I'm not sure I explained it better than you, but I absolutely agree with you. Have you ever tried Rhodiola? This is an amazing herb for concentration and just general feelings of well being.
