There's gotta be successful people out there with anxiety. I wish i could help but maybe have him look up to those people and see how they made it in life. I'd much rather see him in a job with benefits and retirement than slaving away on an inconsistent platform where you get taxed out the ass and no benefits

He's seen me have "good" jobs when I've been better. And he knows the PTSD has really fucked me up lately. That's why he's working on getting himself out there

I think this is probably a good point to stop, considering many of us are here because we're unable to hold down jobs for that very reason.

Scott Stossel, who is the Editor of "The Atlantic," wrote a book called "My Age of Anxiety." He's full of phobias and has SEVERE anxiety. It's excellent and shows all the insane things he has to to do function. He throws down shots and benzos before speaking in front of a crowds, etc. Not healthy ways of coping but very honest and kind of reassuring.
