where I live, gators are in the springs and lakes. People commonly go swimming with them (they say, oh, they like to stay on the other side - away from people.

I find that unconvincing. One of the springs, where they shot the original tarzan, is full of gators. At the mouth of the spring, people love to go swimming. The lifeguards 'look' to see that they stay on the other bank.

I'm from new york, originally. so, I don't swim there

This is a picture of the springs. On the other side, there are LOTS of gators. One person did die, about 20 years ago - but he was a drunken college student and he was swimming the length of the spring (to the right in this picture). They have boats that go down there and there are hundreds of gators lining both sides of the banks. My daughter and I went down when she was young and she was horrified (they were really just hanging out . But there are hundreds of them.

To bolster the claim that it isn't dangerous......he WAS the only fatality at the springs...................

She has to live in the attic.

Texas is a great place to live because no state taxes and cheap to live at.

Also getting drunk and chasing deer.....which has become one of my favorite hobbies since moving here.
