Um, it's some type of paint pen that I found in MIL's giant jar of pens. It's silver?

The something was supposed to be vinyl but I think maybe it's just glossy cardboard or something. I tried to use nail polish remover because it seemed like a good idea and it took off some of the smoothness of the cover. (But not the paint.) Clorox wipes didn't work either.

Er... I mean it didn't work for my friend.

I'll just glue something over it. I'm the only one that's gonna see it anyway.

Awww bugger :/ Sounds like anything that you would need to remove it would ... as your friend has discovered, ruin a bit of the cover.

Sounds like you have a good idea to cover it creatively. I'm so not creative :/
