I wish my significant other would get me flowers. But as I told him, and I felt like posting. I really don't care if you get them off of the side of the road or get fake ones from Walmart. It's the thought that counts, but he never did that in the time we were together.

I often grab a cheap bouquet when I'm grocery shopping because it makes the house seem cheerier.

At least flowers are fairly benign in a way, like they cost money and then they die but it's harmless. The whole culture around diamonds is really effed up though.
