Survey people, why do you prefer surveys over batches?

I'm not 100% a survey person, but I do like when I do a survey and can see a quicker bump in my earnings from one submit click. Submit one HIT and your earnings go up $2 versus having to click submit on 100 HITs for it to go up $2. That's probably just how I play the game in my head but whatever. Also, if there was a rejection, I'd be much more able to absorb 1 rejection than a batch where I did 1000 and they all rejected.

Survey people, why do you prefer surveys over batches?

I don't have any great quals, and since I have 6k approved it is easier to build numbers without dealing with mass rejections. I think the approved percent is the main reason though, if I get mass rejects on one batch early with my MTurk account I don't qualify for most hits so it is even harder to get a high enough approval rate to make MTurk worth it. I do snag a few batches, but limit myself to 15-30 just to maintain 99%+ Once I get higher I'll do more batches.

I don't have focused time to sit and hammer out a good batch unless it's really early in the morning, but surveys will wait for me while I wipe a butt or whatever

ok thats wat i figured. my brain couldn't decided if it was a bad hit, or if I am just lazy and I need to write those 5 sentences because there are people in 3rd world countries that dont have the opportunities I have
