Yeah, it's fine. I don't remember the exact temps/times because it's been several years since I took my food safety classes, but as long as it's not at those temps for longer than an hour or so, there's not really anything to worry about.do you guys know if it's normal/okay that the freezer in my apt. goes up to 45-55 degrees F when it defrosts? stays there for 40+ minutes. then back down to 0 F. landlord says that's normal/safe. I'm new to cooking and not sure if I will get food poisoning. a lot of the things I'm planning on freezing/keeping in the fridge have few preservatives, like vegetables, meat, cream.
