02/16 - Thick Thursday!

Quick question for people who have been turking for a while. Do you use and maintain a hit DB? I stopped using it about 6 months in so, that's about two years of not using/maintaining it ~350,000 hits. Now that it is incorporated into MTS, I am considering using it again. At this point would it be pointless since I do not have those two years backed up? I get along fine without it but feel it might be useful for something.

I'm a total stats type of person so I use it all the time. I will export all my hits and import into google sheets. I have it calculate how much I made daily, monthly and yearly. I even have it show little cute graphs. I have all my hits I have ever done since I started 3 years ago backed up in a spreadsheet. I love to see my progress and make sure I keep ahead of myself to see what I can do better. It's a good way to make sure I monitor requesters that I enjoy doing and pay well. Then obviously keeping it updated often will help me not do that same survey again but I rarely do surveys so there's that.

What bonuses are others getting for these?

I stopped using it more than a year ago, if I remember correctly. When I got up in the 1 million hits submitted range that damn database became super unwieldy and really suffered.

Did you do this one? It was $5 yesterday. Got answering machine everytime I tried to cal, finally got through this am and was told they cancelled the study. So sucks now that its $7
