I've never done a qual test until today, how do I know if I passed the test? Do I get an email?

If it is one that is scored automatically, I usually go back into the link to "preview." It will normally state what your score is and ask if you are sure that you want to retake. Then I check on the qualifications of the HIT to see if my score is high enough.

If it's one where the requester is manually grading the tests, you might get an email, or you might find that you can just accept the hit out of the blue. It's a toss-up.
