damned external HD isn't talking to my Mac and i don't have a spare mini usb cable to see if that's the only issue. not pleased. i just spent the last 2 hours hoping it was a software issue on the OS or firmware side. nope. that damned drive has probably 10 years of pictures (most i can live without thankfully), music and videos.

also looks like HF has a crap ton of hits from requestors i've blocked in recent weeks and that's about it. guess that means i'm done for the night.
