well shit. was doing laundry and the washing machine decided to just not stop filling up. I didn't notice until it flooded 1/3 of my house, some of that has original hardwood floors.

Managed to get all the water out after 90 mins. I think it's ok. But I busted the gas line on my dryer putting it back into place (the gas is shut off, it's ok).

Hoping it was a glitch and I don't need a new washing machine!

My poor son is traumatized. When mom's hair got tangled in something and I dropped my phone into the puddle he heard the f word more than he's ever heard me say it in his life.
