Not sure about the batch, but that could be an intentional thing. Leaving TO encourages other people to do a batch. Leaving a batch as no TO increases the odds that people will be too scared to do it.

nothing more irritating than people having long involved conversations about a hit where they don't mention the name. I understand why you wouldn't want to spread it out among those who didn't see it, but maybe you should just keep it to yourself in that case.
