Informal poll: Do you manually name your pandas on HC or do you just let them go with the HIT number? I kind of wish it showed the name before it catches things like PC does, I can never tell what is what

I only name the really good paying ones and I name them based on how much they pay. I have one named 15.

Just heard back from HLP Lab. You guys who caught that HIT at $5 are lucky!

I have to say, I am still not super pleased with the response, but it could have been worse.

"The HIT today should not have been listed at $5. It was a typo from
our end, and I apologize for that. There were very few HITs that were
uploaded at this price, and in the future, this task will pay out
exactly the same that you were paid before.

Like you suggested, we do make sure to pay our workers the same amount
for the same task. We time people performing our tasks, and price out
HIT based on the average amount of time taken to ensure that we are
paying for our tasks uniformly. We do aim to be as fair as possible in
our payment. In our estimates, this task takes participants an average
of 8 minutes to finish.

I hope you understand, and sorry again for the mistake."

I would respond and say “I don’t understand, and fuck you, pay me.”

I just had a HIT auto submit and my hands weren't even on the keyboard. I was literally reading the HIT to see if I wanted to do it.

So now I'll prob get a rejection. Emailed the R, but I don't think they're quite known for their responsiveness.

Do you know what hit info was needed? If you do you can PM the requester the answers through the submitted hit. It's worked for me a few times when I've accidentally submitted hits.
