I'm not much of a praying type
but this morning I found my mother sitting in a chair where she apparently hadn't moved from in over 24 hours.
she was behaving like a drunk, but the problem is that she doesn't drink, and there were no alcohol bottles anywhere to be found.
it was either from some internal issue, or more likely, overdosing/mixing medications
she has a drawer of like 20 different medicines; the pharmacist recognizes me by my mother's account since I get all her stuff for her.
my dad was willing to leave without doing anything, under the assumption that if something happened, my baby brother or sister (ages 19,20) would call one of us at work [I work at the same place as my dad
I got a little violent and forced my mom into the car and brought her to the hospital.
when she was asked why she was there I let her answer. she explained that she has two grandkids (she does) and that her favorite color is green, and how did I get here?
so
while I don't necessarily pray, I do ask that if there is such a thing as prayer's power, or whatever it is, if someone could squeeze my mom in there, I would appreciate it.
