I do love the smell of old books though! Old used bookstores still a fave place to spend an afternoon or heck entire day.

the other good thing about readers is that you don't need a light to read them. You can twist around, hang upside down half off the bed without blocking the light.

This is my main reason for e-readers. I like hiding under the covers when I read, and it's hard as hell to do that with real life books.

I'm using the coupon it'll save me $3. I'm just waffling on whether I wanna buy them now or not.

Yeah terp told me to get some Stephen King, so I did. I limited myself to $20 for books. I can buy $20 more when I finish them.

My eink kindle isn't backlit and reading on my other tab isn't fun. I like IRL book-type books. I just don't like to own many. Libraries are awesome, though.

My favorite old book store fell into the hands of a younger generation and it moved to a new location with a coffee shop area and big comfy reading nooks. The old one looked like something from a fantasy story with huge stacks of books reaching up to the ceiling leaning over a maze of very narrow aisles where patrons walking through them cringed every time they heard a book shift. If you wanted to read a book you sat on the floor in a corner and pulled your knees in every time someone walked by. the ancient gnarled tree root of a man who lorded over the place knew every book in the place and exactly where it was located.,
