I must terrible arthritis in my right knee. It's really hurting lately. I've had cortisone shots, lasts a few months, then I have to get another one. Even with insurance it is still so expensive. I don't know if surgery will help or not. nothing is torn, the mri said so not sure what to do. Sucks getting old.

Arthritis sucks. Been on a cane on and off for 2 years. I feel even worse for the ones like my cousins son who is only 9 and was dx with it. Bad enough being old and hurting, worse for the young.

I know that feeling...had 3 in my spine for a herniated disc and they didn't do anything except make my head as big as Barry Bonds....that's why I hate winter and the cold...it's rough on the old worn out joints from so many years of basketball on concrete courts with crappy Chuck Taylor's to play in.....Aleve seems to work pretty well for me though....not as good the oxy they gave me....lol

My sister got some relief by taking fish oil. It might help with inflammation.
