We had 3 channels (unless you counted the UHF ones) and I watched as much TV as I could sneak. There were some awesome movies on every day at 3:30 pm and sometimes After School Specials. There was a time when Thursday night TV was the best ever.

I think our city (Detroit) had 4 plus we got some Canadian channels when I was a kid. (3 major and 1 independent).
