True story. I participated in a graduate level team project that was given the mandate that we would use a majority vote (team size: 5 members) system to determine the format of our final group presentation (ie. PPT, one speaker, group presentation, whatever) as long as approved by course. On the day before we finalized our format the "instructor" (hey, not all PhDs are created equal) 'flipped the switch' on the class and determined that all teams would be forced to use the minority consensus format. It was to teach us all a lesson in why we should never discount the least popular opinion.
So for our final presentation, my team put on a puppet show.
I'm not even remotely joking about this.
