Some people were talking earlier about how hard it was... I think there's a "knack" for recognizing scripted vs. natural language.

Someone should do a study on that, and pay us to take it. :)
most of the bad ones are really bad. it's not like the other one where endings could be a lot of things because they were videos and all kinds of things could happen, flashing to another scene, words on screen - anything. this is much easier.

what film? I think there is more stuff created (film and tv) away from california than in california due to states like mine and their filming incentives.

weather is nice in california (I will grant you that) but boring. I like having 4 distince seasons and the dynamic days in the summertime where you start with clear skies and by mid-afternoon or evening can have heavy downpours and spectacular (but scary it will fry your appliances) lightning.
Where are you from? We've picked up a decent amount of studio money around my part of the country too. There's a lot less actual movie making in California now than there used to be for sure but what films? I'd be willing to bet money that a statistically significant portion of the movies I've liked had location shoots in, were shot on sets in, were animated by a studio in, or went through post production in The Sunshine State. That Prop 65 Warning though. I've got a pretty strong dislike for that thing.

I dropped down to 82% correct on Zeller hits but still have my qual. the random one he chose was correct. I think that's the key. You keep your qual if the random one he picks is a correct one. Seems that way at any rate. My percentage dropped from earlier when it was in the 90s. Will try harder tomorrow if he still has them up. We'll see.

I did that new Noah hit. Not sure if I did it correctly. Hopefully I did. It did go purple on me afterward. So we're only allowed to do one for now. We'll see I guess.

quite a bit of fantasy plumage being flashed here right now
Sorry, Giphy has no idea what a "feathered dragon" is, and Pinterest has ruined image searches.

Can't be entertaining right now. :(

Well that sucks. I passed the first test and got the "real task" so idk what I did wrong
That is weird. I have no clue why you'd be banned then.

I marked the obvious AI first, then thoughtfully pondered the remaining for an appropriate response, then did a QC check by telling myself the reason I selected what I did for each one before I hit "submit" and that's why it took forever for me.

also... not a big fan of Tolkien, either. I don't think fantasy is really my thing, it just got kinda forced upon me at a certain age and I thought it was. dragonlance is still pretty killer though, but it's also been a long time i might hate it now
I tried to read Tolkien but just couldn't get into The Hobbit :lirikA:

I was just thinking that. Maybe I can do more of these because I already did one earlier today. I didn't have to do the test at the beginning this time.

i just read them and mark likely/unlikely as i go and then pick the best two. often i found myself not even picking a second one. i'd say at least 1/4 of them i didn't pick a second one. i read fast though.

Face value -15% on everything you see and are told before having a face to face. That was what I did. If you find that they've been straight with you your mood gets a little boost at the top of the night. If not? You've tempered your disappointment a little and increase your chances of having a decent time anyway. Save the optimism for when it's warranted. It made the entire digital dating thing almost tolerable for me.
Doesn't sound like a bad idea. Might have to incorporate that more. Or at least be more cognizant of it. Appreciate it. :)

I do not feel bad for doing less than some people because I was double-checking. I'm taking kind of a perfectionist approach to Turking, probably why I still have 100% at 25k.

Hopefully we will both be here when the next batch of Rowans hits, *after* I've had a good night's sleep!

I kind of feel bad for not doing the Rowan qual. But then I think of all the reading and I'm okay again. Will probably do it next time it drops though.
