It was devastating for them. The FBI suspected human trafficking, but we never found anything out more. It tore the family apart.

I was surprised to see Cancun on that list. That's a lot of homicides with a population of only 800000. We would be living about 20 minutes south of there. I just wonder if the homicides are gangs vs gangs. I think they pretty much leave the tourists alone.

This might be the first weekday in a long time I haven't worked. I was getting started this morning and did a couple hits in Prolific and at the same time my Mac was giving me a ton of fits.. enough that I was just about to toss it out on the street to get run over by the oncoming trash truck. Checked my email first.. got a job offer from a company I've been pretty excited about since applying. YAY!!! So my nearly 4 month hunt is done and after that I went for a run and managed to keep my sub 11:15 pace (11:10) for 5k and then bought a new M1 Mac Mini to replace this dying 10 year old Mac mini I'm using to post this comment. Good day for me. Best in a long time. Probably back on later. I've got a couple outstanding longitudinal tasks I need to do today but first I need a shower after that run. Cheers!
