They were. I don't want to say the requester because I haven't decided what to do with it yet. I am living a moral dilemma survey.

I'd still contact them so they know that they made an error and they don't think they've paid everyone else when they haven't. There's not anyway through mTurk or Amazon payments to pay it back, but it's still good to let them know.
