Just pay attention to the ratings and you shouldn't have a problem. Ebay is also overtly buyer-friendly so they will almost always side with you if there is an issue.

Source: I buy a lot of Funkos and Asian skincare stuff off eBay. Like, a lot.

I'm always so scared to buy something off ebay because of the stories I've heard about sellers scamming you :/

A lot of people used to feel this way.
And Ebay fixed it...

..by always taking the buyers side and fucking over every seller that tries to make some money.

Though as a seller I'm 2/2 in my cases, for a whopping total of like $450 that I could have lost.
But those buyers were full on trying to scam me and it was very obvious.
