How every person metabolizes and is affected by medication, whether prescribed or OTC, is different. Our bodies naturally produce melationin, but sometimes it may not be enough. Taking 1-10mg (they come in 1mg, 3mg, 5gm and 10mg doses) to help the sleep process can be beneficial for some. It won't "keep you asleep" though.Does melatonin really work? Everyone talks about it.
