it seems these days that AI does us no good. we spend probably two hours for every one that was supposed to make our lives easier, fixing up someone else's mistake. but keeping a phone record and even recording the conversation when you cashed in the tickets can help. won't stop it from trying to happen but gives you back up. i hate smartphones, but sometimes they come in handy.
nah had nothing to do with ai. i just had a stack of tickets that i had been waiting to cash in and i handed the whole stack to her at once. she decided that she was going to slip some of them off to the side and act like i never gave them to her, and probably expected that i wouldnt notice.
too bad for her i always scan mine on the lottery app so i know exactly what i won and should get back, as well as being a cashier for numerous years so i knew exactly how lotto machines work. she was going to pocket them, no doubt. she literally gave the cops like 5 different excuses and tried to misdirect them.
i have zero sympathy for scammers and thieves. i only wonder how many other people she tried to do that to and succeeded.
