I've never left the south, so the only knowledge I have of the north are the stories my wife tells me of her childhood in MN. I sort of just assume everything up there is snow elf territory. I'm pretty sure one of the stories involved kids huddling together to avoid freezing to death even WITH coats during recess.


Gonna be in the 70s next week at least in East TN. Pack for both hot and cold though.

I grew up in NY and then was moved to GA and finished growing up there and moved back up here.
I've been on both sides. NY at least has the decency to have deadly weather rather than making you suffer through it. Although my childhood stories of recess were about piling snow so high we had 6 ft walls of snow drifts to play on during recess that the teachers kept trying to ban us from climbing on.
Also the bus stop where we made a big snow pile into a slide, carved steps in it and everything, every single winter, and we'd make sure to slide down fast enough to melt the snow with our butts and refreeze it to make an ice slide. Basically we just made everything a playground.

Are you sure you're not thinking about that malt beverage "shine" crap they sell in grocery stores? Midnight moon is not super dank, but it is far from gross.

We had a REALLY nasty ice storm back in 1994, but outside of that I've never seen snow over a foot. I love the stuff though. We've thought about moving up north at least for a little while so she can convince me that "real" snow will make me hate my life.

Mmm, tastes like copper tubing and blindness. Up here in the mountains if you hear an explosion it is either a still or a meth lab exploding. Shits everywhere.

I think the reason Midnight Moon is so bland is they use crappy quality fruits that further degrade in the liquor. Their strawberry is absolutely ghastly.
