A lot of that is the rose-colored nature of hindsight. Sure we had cool hair and music, but the 80s definitely had their problems. Can't really go into them since this is the daily thread and not the Thread For Such Things, but Google can fill you in if curious.

Oh man I love pop up video. I had so many of those recorded. And i would stay up late recording music videos so I could transcribe them later. (I don't know why I did that.)



I find it really weird that my nephew (4) has had a phone for 2 years. Like I didn't get a phone till I was 18 and while now I never put it down I'm really glad I didn't have it when I was really young. I would have been playing on it instead of reading.

Does anyone who did the tedlab 45 dollar HIT the time before last know how long it took them to bonus after approving?

I did it this time (still waiting), but expect it about a week after approval per prior reports. HIT sat to 7-day AA, then bonus a week after that, aka 2 weeks after submitting the HIT.

Speaking of nostalgia Ms. Zbornak, spent many hours of my childhood watching your show with my Nan and I still love it to this day!

Also, I grew up to be a Blanche/Rose sort of hybrid, which I'm totally okay about.
